Considering the results of the study "What is Your Profession?", conducted within the network of the job portal www.kandideeri.ee, this article provides a comprehensive overview of the professional preferences and current status of job searches among active participants in the Estonian job market. The survey involved 1,321 individuals, comprising 529 men and 792 women, with an average age of 37.1 years. A majority of respondents (49.4%) were actively seeking employment, while 42.1% were open to new opportunities despite not actively searching for work, and only 8.5% were not seeking employment.
The second part of the study, focusing on the question "What is Your Profession?", allowed respondents to detail their current positions or the roles they were seeking. This provided a rich and diverse list of job titles, from laboratory technicians and builders to various specialists and technicians.
