We’re looking for a Device Technical Lead to join us at Telia.   

I’m Philip Phan, Head of Devices & SIM, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on device quality assurance by testing and verifying connectivity devices such as smartphones, routers, and wearables before they are launched into the Telia stores.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll be supporting the Telia Group business, with focus on Finland doing quality assurance of devices. This includes: 

• Testing and verifying that devices work according to Telia requirements 
• Representing Telia Finland in device vendor management matters 
• Support & assist in device troubleshooting activities 
• Support & assist in device adjacent activities, such as SIM or providing test devices to internal stakeholders and Telia group level tasks when needed 

• Duration of Summer Jobs period: May 1st, 2026 – August 31st, 2026 
• Time type: Full-time 
• Possible work locations: Helsinki

What will help you thrive in this role: 

• You are a great team player, with a can-do attitude and a hunger to learn the job as you do it 
• In order to manage many things simultaneously, you are structured and have attention to detail 
• You can engage stakeholders (both internal & external) to move forward with an issue or a subject matter 
• Hands-on experience in device testing is a merit, but not a must 
• Basic understanding or experience in programming logic is beneficial 
• Having an interest in mobile technology is a benefit as this is what you will work with 
• Fluency in English, both in writing and orally
