Milrem Robotics is looking for motivated students to join our Summer Internship Programme. This paid internship runs for one month during the summer months from June to August and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and specialists on real projects.
This year, we are welcoming interns across several teams, including IT, Autonomy, Middleware, Mobility Core, Emerging Platforms and Production.
Internship for the Emerging Platforms team will take place in Tallinn.
The Emerging Platforms team is responsible for designing and prototyping the newest and greatest UGVs the world has seen. Starting from customer and operational needs, our team defines the requirements, specifications and technical concepts for the new robotic platforms, guides the design and assembly phases and finishes with working prototypes testing.
During the internship, you will work on focused projects that contribute to the team’s work in a meaningful way:
Product requirements refining and project data management.
Taking part in new product development processes.
Helping to define Milrem's product architecture and design concepts.
This internship is designed to give you hands-on experience and real insight into the fields of systems engineering and technical project management.
Experience working in a professional engineering environment
Exposure to real robotics development projects
Mentorship from experienced engineers
Participation in team meetings and company events
Studying Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Systems Engineering or similar
Interested in robotics, engineering, or technology
Curious, proactive and eager to learn
Comfortable working in a team environment
Bonus if you have experience with product requirements or robotics product development.
Please send your application by 12 April 2026 at the latest. No late applications will be accepted.
Interviews will take place, preferably in person in Tallinn, during the weeks commencing 20 April and 27 April. Selection for interviews is based on the submitted application.
Spend your summer working on real robotic platforms and contribute to the future of unmanned ground vehicles.
