We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data Team and collaborate with top-notch experts in the field!
In this role, you will work across multiple client projects spanning different domains and industries. You’ll be involved in end-to-end data initiatives — from building ETL/ELT pipelines and designing data models to setting up and evolving modern data warehouses. Depending on your interests, you may also take part in requirements gathering, customer collaboration, and dashboard development.
This position starts part-time, with an opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

You are a great fit if you have:
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Warehouse Developer, or SQL Developer
- Very strong SQL skills
- Solid experience with dimensional data modeling
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including building data pipelines
- Experience with dbt, Airbyte, and Git is a strong plus
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
- An analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to communicate directly with customers to clarify requirements and design solutions
- Located in Poland and ready to work on a B2B contract
- Willingness for occasional travel to Estonia
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and maintaining cloud-based data warehouses
- Working in a modern agile development environment together with other Helmes team members
- Designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, primarily using Snowflake and GUI-based tools
- Creating, implementing, and refining data models, including defining edge cases
- Participating in customer meetings, gathering requirements, and proposing data solutions (if you’re interested)
- Building data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau (if you’re interested)
