Are you our next Senior Software Engineer?
Relax Gaming is a leading provider in the iGaming industry, and we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our backend engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a desire to take ownership of systems and processes.
You will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of our core backend systems; high-performance, mission-critical services that power our games, jackpots, tournaments, and promotional features. These systems handle large volumes of real-time, real-money transactions and require both reliability and scalability.
You will also be involved across the full software development lifecycle: from gathering requirements and designing solutions to coding, testing, and deploying to production. As a Senior Engineer, you will also play an important role in:
- Supporting architectural decisions
- Collaborating with Product, QA, and DevOps
- Driving code quality, test coverage, and continuous refactoring
- Exploring how emerging technologies, including AI, can enhance our workflows

We wish you to have at least 5 years experience of:
- Backend development in Java
- Relational databases, SQL and ORM tools
- Distributed systems and performance optimization
You'll have us extra excited if you are also experienced in Docker, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis and Game engine development.
