We’re looking for a People Project Adviser with project management experience to join our growing People function. This role is based in Tallinn and sits within the People Programmes, Experience and Analytics team which is responsible for helping to build a high performing people function driving an exceptional colleague experience.
We want to bring to life the principles by which we drive our external product and offerings - transparent, convenient, fast and eventually free - to our “people products” too; and this role is critical in helping us to do that. This role will partner with stakeholders from across the People function and wider Wise organisation to successfully drive high impact projects, as well as to embed and continuously improve project delivery practices in the People function.
This isn’t a job for someone who wants to maintain the status quo. Instead this role would suit someone who wants to collaborate to solve problems, help build something new and work at pace. It’s also a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission and support our employees through their Wise journey.
Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the People Programmes, Experience & Analytics team:
Directly project manage some of the biggest and most impactful people projects from initiation through to closure to ensure they are delivered successfully and have meaningful impact on our business
Partner across the people function to increase the project management capability of the People team through delivering and developing training, implementing project management toolkits and contributing to a project management community of practice
Drive, embed and continuously improve the project and programme management processes and governance structures that are being put in place to improve project delivery within the function. Including (but not limited to) tracking and monitoring processes, project initiation processes, project board meetings
Provide project management support and advice to others across the people projects portfolio
Build and maintain close trusted partnerships across the People team to enable collaboration, delivery and success on projects
Help the people team and Leads to identify and recommend areas where they should be focusing next, in addition to helping prioritise projects
Hold the People Team and their stakeholders to account when it comes to projects, their planning and deliverables, making sure we remain on track as a function
Support project change management and communications from planning through to execution to ensure alignment across project change and communication activities
This role will give you the opportunity to:
Develop as part of a new team - the People Programmes, Experience & Analytics team is a relatively new team that has the privilege of working across the entire People function on high impact projects; you will be an integral part of the teams’ formation and have lots of opportunity to input into how it evolves.
Be part of our mission to make money without borders the new normal
About you:
You are passionate about good project management - you’ll be strongly solutions-focused, able to identify problems and drive initiatives that have measurable impact.. You will have project management experience, and a recognised project management qualification
You have a solid grounding in change management and communication - you’re great at guiding others through change and amazing at communicating effectively and thoughtfully, by varying your style based on the circumstance
You are data-driven - you’ll base decisions on metrics and have clear KPIs for all your plans
You have a collaborative mindset - you are excellent at working across functions, able to bring people together to achieve a common goal
You think globally - you’ve worked in teams split across geographies and timezones and understand how to effectively manage projects in this context
Creative problem solver - we are not a one-size-fits-all kind of business and we’re not looking for generic solutions; we need you to think creatively and be flexible in your outlook
You have experience of, or interest in, working in the People space - you have managed People projects before, or you have a strong interest in doing so
Some extra skills that would be great:
You might have used Monday.com for project/programme/portfolio planning before
You might have a change management qualification in addition to your project/programme/portfolio management qualifications
You might have worked in a high growth, product or service led (ideally tech) company
