Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting:
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the preparation of management reports and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Tax and Compliance:
- Prepare and file VAT returns, payroll taxes, and other statutory reports.
- Ensure timely payment of all taxes and other government obligations.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
Payroll and Employee Expenses:
- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
- Manage employee expense reports and ensure proper documentation and reimbursement.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and report on variances between actuals and budgeted figures.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and accounting best practices.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
Experience: 02 years of experience in accounting or a related role, with a strong understanding of Estonian accounting standards and tax laws.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions and data analysis.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in Estonian and English.
