It all started in 2006 with a passion for climbing and an idea. With two founders, an employee and a dog on the site of a former textile factory in Kirchentellinsfurt near Tübingen, Bergfreunde.de was born - as an online retailer for mountain sports equipment. We have successfully stayed true to the concept: in the past few years we have already shipped over 1,000,000 orders. Today, numerous employees work to offer the best possible shopping experience for climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. The nomination for the German Founder's Prize in 2009 was a great recognition for us! After years of hard work, we have become the leading online shop for outdoor equipment in Germany and supply numerous European countries from our state-of-the-art warehouse in Ergenzingen.
